Exercise sketches

Every exercise carries a drawing of the movement. They are made by AI, they are labelled as such, and when one is wrong you can say so in a single tap.

Where you see them

Small beside each row in the exercise list, larger in workout mode next to the step you are on, and full width inside the exercise sheet when you tap a row. In the sheet you can pinch with two fingers to zoom in.

Above the picture is the line EXPERIMENTAL AI SKETCH. That label is not a trial. It is there permanently, because the drawings are generated and can be wrong, and you should know that while you are looking at one.

Reporting one that is wrong

On the right of that same line is Doesn't look right? Tap it once. There is no confirmation and no undo, because a report costs nothing and a dialogue in the middle of a workout does.

The link is replaced by Thanks. What's wrong? and three chips: Wrong movement, Body looks wrong, and Has text. Picking one is optional and helps whoever looks at it. Then the message becomes Thanks, we will take a look.

You can close the sheet at any point. The report is already filed.

What a report does and does not do

It sends the drawing to a person. It does not hide the picture, replace it, or start a new one being drawn. Your phone may also keep showing the copy it already has for up to a day.

So if you report a sketch and see the same one in your next session, nothing has gone wrong. Carry on and read the description instead.

The report link only appears over a finished drawing. While one is being made the slot says it is sketching the movement, and there is nothing to report yet.

Common questions

Why do the drawings look odd sometimes?
They are generated by AI and still experimental, which is why every one is labelled as an experimental sketch. Most are fine, and some get the movement or the anatomy wrong. The written description under the sketch is the part to trust.
What happens when I report one?
It goes to a person to look at. The picture does not change, disappear or get redrawn on the spot. You can then pick a reason, which helps but is optional.
I reported a sketch and it is still there.
That is expected. A report routes attention rather than replacing anything, and your phone may keep showing the same copy for up to a day. If it is replaced later and the new one is also wrong, report it again.
Is anything about me sent to the drawing model?
No. Only the name of the exercise. Nothing about you, your plan, your injuries or your history is involved in making a sketch.
Some exercises have no picture at all.
A placeholder holds the space so the list does not jump about. Either the drawing has not been made yet or it could not be made. The description and the cue still tell you what to do.

Still stuck

Open the app, go to You, and tap the feedback row at the bottom. It reaches a person, not a queue. Or write to hello@smashcoach.app.
