Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 August 2026

1 · Who we are

SmashCoach is operated by Multipassionate, an independent studio based in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce / KvK 87872110, VAT NL004497791B91). You can reach us at hello@smashcoach.app. By creating an account or using SmashCoach you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.

2 · What SmashCoach is

SmashCoach is an AI-assisted training companion: it builds and adjusts a weekly training plan around your race goal and the other sports you keep, and answers your training questions in chat. The service is currently in beta and free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and update these terms — nothing will start costing money silently. As a beta product, features may change, be added, or be removed as we build.

3 · Not medical advice — read this

SmashCoach is a fitness product, not a medical service, and its coaching — including everything generated by the AI — is not medical advice. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. The AI can be wrong, and no algorithm knows your body the way you and your doctor do.

Consult a doctor or qualified professional before starting or changing a training program — especially if you are pregnant, injured, have a heart condition or other health condition, or haven't trained in a long time. Stop training and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or anything that worries you. In an emergency, call your local emergency number — not your training app.

Where SmashCoach lets you record health-related information (injuries, limitations, cycle tracking), it uses it only to shape your training, as described in our privacy policy. Recording it there is no substitute for telling a healthcare professional.

4 · Your account

You must be 16 or older to use SmashCoach. Keep your login credentials to yourself, give us accurate information, and use one account per person. You can also train as a guest without an email; guest accounts inactive for 30 days are deleted automatically, along with all their data.

5 · Acceptable use

Use SmashCoach for your own training. Don't use it for anything unlawful, don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it, don't scrape it or abuse the AI coach (including attempts to make it produce content unrelated to training), and don't resell or redistribute the service. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

6 · Your data and content

Your training data is yours. You give us the permission needed to store and process it to run the service — including sending training context to our AI provider to generate your plan — exactly as described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. You can delete your account and all its data at any time from inside the app.

7 · Intellectual property

The SmashCoach app, brand, design, and content are owned by Multipassionate. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app; they don't transfer any ownership. HYROX® is a registered trademark of its owner; SmashCoach is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HYROX.

8 · Liability

Training carries inherent risk, and you train at your own responsibility — the medical section above is part of that. SmashCoach is provided as is during beta: we work hard to make the coaching sensible, but we cannot guarantee it is error-free, uninterrupted, or right for your body on a given day.

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, Multipassionate is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent or deliberate recklessness, or any liability that mandatory (consumer) law does not allow us to exclude.

9 · Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the product evolves; for material changes we'll give you notice in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using SmashCoach after that, the updated terms apply — if you don't agree with them, you can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

10 · Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you always keep the protections of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring disputes before your local courts. If something's wrong, please talk to us first at hello@smashcoach.app — we'd rather fix it than litigate it. Only the English version of these terms is authoritative.
