Sport settings

Tapping any sport in your stack opens how it fits your week. These few numbers are most of what your coach knows about your load outside its own sessions.

What you set

  • Sessions per week, one to seven.
  • Schedule, either Flexible or Fixed days. Fixed days reveals a row of weekdays, and you can pick at most as many as your sessions per week. Flexible lets the app pick the days, around your other sports and classes, emptiest days first. Either way, no session goes on a race day; one already there when you add the race is cleared the next time you save the sport. If one does not suit you, reschedule that session and it stays where you put it.
  • Usual session length, from half an hour to three hours.

At the top of the page is a line about what that sport does to your body. That is not decoration. It is what your coach is working around.

The sport settings screen for padel showing sessions per week pills, a flexible or fixed days toggle and a session length slider

The two toggles

Coach warm-up and cool-down adds a short warm-up and cool-down around your own session, written by your coach when it plans that part of your week. For a group class it offers an activation routine to do before the class instead.

Add performance training tells your coach you want to get better at this sport, not just survive it. It creates a goal for that sport, which means it counts towards your three goals, and can be refused if you are already at the cap.

Removing one

REMOVE sits in the header. The sheet tells you what goes before you confirm: your coach stops planning that sport, any performance goal for it is removed, and your logged history stays exactly where it is.

If you had edited any of that sport's sessions yourself, those stay on your agenda, because they belong to you.

Saving

Changes are not live until you tap Save, and leaving with unsaved ones asks first. Saving rebuilds your plan around the new shape of your week, which takes a few minutes. The sport's sessions for the next four weeks are written again on its days, apart from any you edited, rescheduled or duplicated in the app: those stay where they are, and the day a rescheduled one left is one of its days again. Sessions in those weeks you skipped or already completed stay too, and do not stop a new one being written on the same day.

Your other sports keep the sessions they have. If your save changes the days a Flexible sport needs, its new weeks go on its new days, or all of the next four weeks when you save that sport too.

Common questions

What does the warm-up toggle actually add?
A short warm-up and cool-down written by your coach, wrapped around your own session, so you are not turning up to padel cold. Your coach writes it when it plans that part of your week. Until then the session says it has none yet, and none is added on the day itself. For a group class it offers an activation routine to do beforehand instead, since the class has its own warm-up.
What does Add performance training do?
It creates a goal for that sport, so your coach spends part of your strength work on getting you better at it and keeping you injury free. Because it is a goal, it counts towards your three.
I turned it on and was told I have too many goals.
That is the three-goal cap. Drop or deprioritise a goal on the Goals page first, then come back and turn it on.
Why did my Flexible sport move to other days?
Flexible lets the app pick the days: it puts the sport on the days your other sports and classes leave emptiest. Sessions you add yourself with Add upcoming session, repeating ones included, are not part of that, so a Flexible sport can still land on one of their days. When another sport takes one of its days, the sessions already on your calendar stay where they are and new weeks go on the new days. Save the Flexible sport again to move the next four weeks at once. A session you moved yourself stays where you put it.
Why can I only pick as many days as sessions?
Fixed days say which days the sessions land on, so there cannot be more days than sessions. Raise the sessions per week and more days become available.
What happens to my history if I remove a sport?
It stays. Your coach stops planning around that sport and any performance goal for it goes, but every session you logged remains in your record. Sessions you edited yourself also stay on your agenda.
