Talk instead of typing
Tap the microphone in the message box and say what you mean. Your words land in the box for you to check, and nothing is sent until you send it.

Tap the microphone once to start. It turns gold and the box says Listening. Tap it again to stop. What you said is added to whatever was already in the box, so you can dictate, then tidy it up by hand.
The first time you use it, your phone asks for permission to use the microphone. That prompt comes from your device, not from us.
On most browsers, including Chrome, Android and Safari on iPhone, the words appear as you speak them.
On the installed iPhone app, and in Firefox, the app records what you say and turns it into text after you stop. Three dots replace the microphone while that happens. It is a second or two, and the result is the same.
Recording stops on its own after about a minute, or after a few silent stretches. Locking your phone or switching apps also ends it and keeps what you said so far.
Every problem here is soft, and typing always works.
The microphone is also greyed out while your coach is replying. Wait for the answer, then dictate.
It is in two other places: the note after a workout, and the feedback form on the You page. It behaves identically in both.
Open the app, go to You, and tap the feedback row at the bottom. It reaches a person, not a queue. Or write to hello@smashcoach.app.
