Ask for something and your coach proposes it rather than doing it. Nothing reaches your plan until you tap Confirm.

In your own words. Move Thursday to Friday, make this week easier, add a swim on Sunday, rebuild the whole thing. A suggestion chip sends a full question for you.
A card appears headed COACH RECOMMENDS. Under it is the day and session it will change, such as Sat 3 Oct · Baseline Press, then one line saying exactly what it will do, and two buttons. Check the day is the one you meant. Ask for two changes and you get a card for each.
If what your coach wrote does not match that session’s day, or the card would quietly change a different day from the one you asked about, you get a question instead of a card, so the wrong session is never one tap away. Ask to shorten a day that only has your own sport on it and your coach says that session is yours, then offers to change its nearest one, naming the day.
Confirm applies it. A rebuild takes a few minutes and tells you what it is doing as it goes. If your phone locks part way, the card says the rebuild started and your plan shows how far it got, with no second Confirm to pay for it twice. Dismiss leaves your plan alone and the card says so, so you can see later what you decided.
A green tick replaces the buttons, naming what happened. Your plan is already refreshed by then, so the change is on your agenda when you look.
Occasionally a proposed change does not pass the automatic safety check. The card header changes to DOUBLE-CHECKING, there is no Confirm button, and your coach explains why in its own words.
A person then looks at it. Your coach writes back to you either way, telling you it has been added or that it decided against it and offering to explain. You do not need to chase it, and asking again will not speed it up.
A session you have already done or skipped cannot be moved, reprogrammed or deleted from chat. It is a record of what happened, and rewriting it would make your history a fiction. Your coach says which it is, done or skipped. Asking to skip one you already skipped is fine: nothing changes.
Goals, injuries, sports and races have their own screens, so your coach sends you there with a link rather than guessing at the details.
